True Brew

With its sleek lines and designer interior, True Brew inspires ‘ooh’s and ‘aah’s at first look. But, it's not difficult being gorgeous when you're located in a furniture gallery. True Brew shares space with Studio 99. The gallery features upscale furniture brands like Arflex and Paola Lenti.

Cafe owners, P.G. Teh and Vincent Tan, wanted a unique way to display its products. All the chairs at the cafe are from Paola Lenti, and the lamps from Oluce. The menu is not extensive but certainly eclectic. Black in colour, the visually distinctive Charcoal Bread Sandwich is popular, as well as its sambal prawns, of which they're very proud. Another signature dish is the fried rice with scallops and XO sauce that is made according to a family recipe.
