A monochromatic Chinese restaurant? Blasphemy! Well, Reunion in Bangsar Village II is just that. Not blasphemous, it merely steers away from the stereotypical red and gold Chinese restaurant decor. Brainchild of the Delicious Group, which spawned Delicious and D’Lish, Reunion’s contemporary and stylish look of Reunion is seemingly deceptive. Just when you’d expect gourmet portions of Chinese fusion, it serves authentic Chinese cuisine instead – in normal portions too. The dining experience is made more enjoyable with its minimalist dÈcor. Ceiling spotlights illuminate the dishes on each table, while the entire place is softly lit with ambient lighting. Open up the menu and you’ll notice a variety of dishes that guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest of palates. Mouth-watering dishes like butter prawns, roast meats (pork, duck, chicken), Mapo Tofu, braised lobster noodle Hakka-style and the Suckling Pig merely scrape the surface. Reunion has a wide selection of wine to pick from and to top things off, cleanse the palate with a nice dessert like Sago in Mango Puree. Reunion is open for lunch and dinner. Diners can expect to pay roughly at least RM20 onwards per person.
