Finding this place is a bit tricky. Here's a tip: as you enter the bumpy kampung road, kindly ignore the first restaurant to your right, just drive on until the end. This house-cum-restaurant is usually packed with people, especially during lunch, for good reason. Aside from its totally unpretentious kampung ambience, this restaurant is known for its homemade noodles, loh mee to be exact. The noodles are a tad fatter than the typical loh mee but it's chew-riffic. The gravy is good too, with a dash of vinegar. Also recommended is the pan mee that comes in a nicely balanced savoury soup. Meanwhile the Hokkien mee is also apparently quite good. The restaurant also serves fried sui gao (prawn dumplings) that taste really good when dipped in the sweet spicy sauce. Quench your thirst with a glass of Michael Jackson (soy milk and cincau). Despite the good food, diners below the age of 30 or of non-typical Chinese looks need to be patient with rude service. We do not know what's up with these folks but at least we still got our food.
