Opposite the Pos Malaysia building behind KL Plaza is a row of unsuspecting gerai of rather dubious cleanliness. But two gems are Kak Mariah's and Kak Zai's stalls. Kak Mariah's nasi campur stall gets swarmed during lunch hour by office workers who take their picks from her large spread. Meanwhile, Kak Zai is famed for her mee soto (RM3). With crunchy bean sprouts, peanuts and fishballs, it's a very wholesome and satisfying meal. The clear chicken broth will have you slurping from the bowl.
